If we are indeed mathematically out of the playoffs, the Jags need to pull Bortles and give him a chance to recuperate if the next game turns ugly again.


If he indeed is our franchise quarterback, keeping him in the game for the remainder of the season is not going to do his body any good.


My opinion is he is nursing something that is throwing everything off and he is not seasoned enough at the position to offset it. Big Ben, Brady and even Peyton knew their limitations when hurt and worked around it.


I still believe MJD would have had a bit more career left in him if the Jags wouldn't have worn him out during those hopelessly lost seasons where we had no chance for the playoffs. You play until the end but he was getting banged and bruised and carrying the team on his shoulders.
