Me and the wife are actually planning on starting a little vegetable garden this year and trying to raise some organic food, figure in the least it might help reduce the grocery bill with 4 growing kids in the house.
 

Did you know that carrots are orange because of genetic modification? Carrots were originally red, yellow and even purple. But it was those crafty Dutch that used selective breeding to modify the genes of carrots to make them orange as a tribute to the House of Orange.
