Best believe Caldwell knows that Gabbert is soft and can't cut it. Its just not a good thing to come out and say it. Cutting Gabbert will be all the talking he needs to do.
No, but he could have been a bit more general, or evasive, when answering the question.

 

You know - the typical answer along the lines of "We're continuing to evaluate the situation. A decision will be made in the offseason." He was so honest and upfront in all his other answers, so I find it pretty interesting.
