C'mon man, you really think Hackett and Olsen told Blake to start dropping the ball below his waist, start throwing off his back foot, lean back on his throws, and to not follow through? 

 

The coaching staff didn't make his mechanics fall apart. He got lazy and didn't work on keeping his somewhat improved mechanics intact, or god forbid improved again since they were better but still not good last year. That's on him not the staff.
