space was just waiting for a game in which Bortles wasn't one of the biggest issues for the game and the defense slipped back again.


The past 2-3 games before Buffalo, the defense was playing really well, and Bortles was struggling. Even in the Buffalo game, the defense was fantastic in the 1st half (they would've likely pitched a shutout if not for that ridiculous re-kick of the punt and a return to nearly the Jags 20 yd line).


Bortles played decent in the Bills game. He didn't have many yards, but he led a few nice drives, used his legs for some really nice plays, and was throwing the ball better than the past few weeks.


Cue spacecoastjag after that, lol.

I'll give space some credit though. He's a bona-fide Bortles fan no matter what.
