I agree.

Ratings are probably a big consideration in this (as much as we would like to think that it isn't).

The first season of playoffs, ratings were really high, especially for the Ohio State vs Alabama game (Urban Meyer vs Saban).

Last year, the ratings dipped (according to a couple sports radio shows I listen to).

Ratings will probably go back up with Ohio State in the fold. And, ratings would probably be huge if Ohio State and Michigan play each other in a rematch.

With Ohio State and Michigan's current rankings, it sure seems like they are considering setting up a rematch.
