Budweiser, Miller Lite, Coors are all in the premium category of domestic brands and are marketed and priced accordingly.  This is the term used in the retail industry for marketing those beers.

 

Only in such articles will you find premium American beers labeled as "cheap," because they consider every single mass produced beer "cheap."

 

I'm not going to pretend they don't have a point, because they are mass produced for mass consumption.  But I'm also not going to dismiss all American made brands and pretend there isn't a premium segment that exists within it.
