Right, but nobody really saw him as a starting QB right away, even Dallas. They were counting on having Romo. If they would've known he would get hurt, I doubt they would've taken Prescott any higher than they did, because they viewed him as developmental. The Cowboys were rumored to be interested in Paxton Lynch as a long term QB, but when the Broncos took him, they waited until round 4 to get Prescott.
