Bortles regressed since year two, I think that much is clear, but really the team overall hasn't been coached up overall since Bradley's been here, and that's the biggest problem. I see Bortles right now as a lot like Matt Stafford of a couple of years ago. Suddenly Matt has a good OC and instead of consistently losing against his division rivals they're winning every close game. Bortles has problems, but it's also clear he's not some backup level player, he's got legitimate franchise QB qualities. The Jaguars need legitimate coaching to go with it. |
