Where is the best place to play bball in jacksonville?

The YMCA's around town are probably your best bet to find competitive games and leagues. The good thing is that there is only a monthly fee (~ $40 for individual) and you can go to any Y nationwide that you want. The level of competition is kind of consistent with the town the Y is in so if you want more or less competition, you can just drive over to any other Y that you think is best.
I grew up in a time of hooping on the playgrounds but apparently that's not even an option anymore unless you want to hang out by yourself and work on you jump shot and free throws. The last good playground ball that I remember was going against the kids from Fletcher HS back in 1993 after they lost the State Championship game. |
