  The x factor is whether Dave Caldwell will be retained as Jaguars GM. 

 

  If Shad Khan elects to retain Caldwell,  it would be a great amount of sense to fire Gus Bradley before the end of the season if the plan is to replace Bradley.   This way,  Caldwell would be able to get a head start on the interview process for the next HC in terms of interviewing candidates that permission isn't needed.
