He was never really an every down back to begin and pairing him with the failure that is T.J. Yeldon, has been a disaster. It's time to move on and find our Ezekiel Elliott or DeMarco Murray type RB.

 

 

He's had a handful of plays this year where he's got a bit of space and he's had that explosiveness, and he's had a couple of really powerful runs.  Additionally, before the Hamstring injury, after the "mystery illness" he had some good runs as well. 

 

We signed him to a 5 year deal, that's really structured like a 2 year deal.  I don't think it's fair to give up on him QUITE yet being that he hasn't even shown a full season here, yet, and we know that NO ONE has had any luck running behind our line.  It's not even just that we have "bad backs"... you can see it clearly every week... guys getting hit either in the backfield, or having absolutely no where to go at the LoS.

 

Yeldon, I'm fine w/ moving on from.  We've seen him for most of 2 years now.  Nothing exciting going on there.  Ivory... we haven't even seen 10 games of him... saying "it's time to move on" feels premature to me.
