I'm not sure A-Rob deserves the money. He's going to have to prove that he deserves it. I don't want to extend him and then have him perform in 2017, like he has this season. That would be wasted money. I'd rather pay more later and make sure he can get back to his 2015 form.

Smith is limited by his size. There are certain schemes he is too small for, so his options will be limited. We can wait and negotiate with him later in the 2017 season.
