They believed we were in a global cooling. They've told us eggs are bad for you, then good for you, then bad for you, then good for you. They're finding now that unsaturated fat and cholesterol are actually not the devil like we though twenty years ago. Experts believed the earth was flat. I can go on and on. There's actually been information that's come out that many peer reviewed articles are often faulty with flaws and can't be replicated. Just because you're an "expert" doesn't mean you can't be wrong. Nor because you're not a professor at MIT doesn't mean you can take a reasonable look at the data and arrive at different conclusions.
