As much as face masks and the like move the ball up the field for the opponent significantly at 15 yards a pop, it's still a guy trying to make a play on defense or in this case special teams and it is truly an accident. The jumping off sides, false starts, late hits and the like (discipline related) are the ones that tell you something is wrong with the coaching and the ones you should really be worried about. You are implying personal fouls are not bad discipline penalties. |
