Back in 1994 they drafted Heath Schuler with the 3rd overall pick and Gus Frerotte in the 7th round. Schuler was a bust and went on to succeed at his backup career, a U.S. Senator. Frerotte on the other hand, had a long career for several NFL teams and even made the Pro Bowl in 2007. So, at least for Washington, plan B has seemed to work out when selecting multiple QB's. |
