The only person it was an obvious lie to was you. And the people who didn't answer most likely thought you were being a smart [BLEEP] and didn't feel the need to respond. Maybe say instead, "I don't understand what you mean, why do you say that?" and go from there. If you get no response, let it go. If you get a sarcastic response, ignore it. You don't have to confront every single thing that doesn't make sense to you or you perceive as a lie or whatever. There are so many things I could comment on in this place that I don't because it's not worth the headache nor the time.

 

You're not going to get everyone on this board to like you and agree with everything you say. That's not how human nature works. Appreciate the ones who do and tolerate or ignore the rest. That's what the rest of us do with each other.
