Our Run Defense is amazing.

 

I'm with the other posters that believe that coaching matters.  I think Wash has been the best DC we've had under the Bradly Adventure.  But he's still just running the same 3 deep zone we always run, with the exception of throwing in a few more blitzes here and there.

 

I think the development on the D side would sky rocket exponentially with an experienced and talented DC.  Seriously, my mouth waters thinking of Rex Ryan coming here for a few years as DC before his next HC gig.  I don't think Rex get's another opportunity for a while.  Him coming here with the talent we have would be a perfect fit.  

 

I can see why this defense would be a great selling point to any coach.  At each level we have either elite or near elite talent.  Ramsey in the Secondary, Telvin in the LB'er corps, and I think you can put Yannick or Jackson in the near elite category on the D-Line (I may be stretching here, but I think both will have break out years next year with real coaching).
