Ryan is having his best ever season this year under OC Shanahan. If we're holding up Ryan's successes as reason for a particular candidate to be hired I wouldn't count out Shanahan as a front runner.
Help is likely not on the way at QB in 2017. Attempting to fix Bortles is priority #1 this offseason. I don't doubt Mike Smith is a strong candidate for the job, but my gut tells me it's going to be an offensive guy who has a history with QBs. |
