It's still remarkable that they are 4th overall, 5th in yards given up per play, and they're 2-11.   Glass half full or glass half empty?    I don't know.   I prefer to think it means we have something to build on.  

 

Sure, the '85 Bears would have stoned the Vikings in the 4th quarter.   We're a long way from that.    On the other hand, it does seem like we have the makings of a good defense, and the season long stats seem to bear that out. 
Oh dang, that reminds me. There's a 30 for 30 on Netflix about the '85 Bears. It's been in my queue for a while and I need to watch it. At least I would get some satisfaction this season of watching the exploits of a winning team.
