2) Skin colour has absolutely nothing to do with success. What matters is how they perform, what their traits are and what makes them tick. Its not racist its just really dumb. Marquette King is a black punter, one of the best in the league, is he good in spite of his colour? No he's just a good punter, his skin colour is completely irrelevant.

 

 

They were both hyped and came from the same pro style college system. I heard the same arguments about Toby Gerhart when he came out. People thought he was going to prove history wrong as well and it never happened. 

 

Skin color has nothing to do with success, unless you are talking about the RB position. It is the exception to the rule. We're not talking about a punter. We're talking about a RB. There are very, very few black punters in college. It's not that they couldn't punt, it's that there is a lack of them. On the other hand, there are quite a few white RB's on the college level, but for whatever reason, the last really successful caucasian RB in the NFL was John Riggins in the early 80's. I'm not making this stuff up. It's what history has shown us. I don't want to gamble and go against history, when this is a very deep RB class with several guys who are very low risk and high reward players who would be much, much, much safer picks.
