Yeah... Alualu has never outplayed Odrick. Seeing as how Odrick was hurt in week 3, comparing him and Alualu might be the funniest thing I've ever seen. In general, regardless of position, Who has he outplayed on the Dline? Not Malik. Not Senderrick. Not Roy Miller. Not Yannick. Who? Even before this year, since Tyson was drafted, what Dlineman have we had (outside of camp fodder) have you been able to say, with 100% confidence, Tyson outplayed?


He was also a healthy inactive the first 2 (3?) games. When has that ever happened to a good top 10 pick?


I tried to stay out of this, but this is hilarious. The only defense I see for Tyson Alualu is that he's been here a long time, and that where he was picked isn't his fault. Truth is, his draft pick and contract saved his job.


Lol people take critisim of Alualu so personally on here. It wasn't Blaine Gabbert's fault where he was picked, he was picked 10th over a lot of pro bowl caliber players, does that make him a good pick as well?


Ask yourself these questions;


If you could make that pick in the 2010 NFL draft again, would you? (Your answer should be "hell no")


If every pick the Jaguars made in the top 10 ended up like Tyson, career wise, would you have a good team? (Again, hell no)


Sorry, but that means he's a bust. Top 10 picks are theoretically the top 10 players in the draft, and should change your teams future. Not being painfully underwhelming on a terrible team, only to be benched and replaced on another bad team.


Good top 10 picks aren't healthy scratches, bench warmers, nor have their positions taken from them every year. Sorry.
