OFFICIAL/CONFIRMED: Bradley Fired
|
Quote:I think Tony Dungy said it best a few years ago when he said Peyton Manning only ran about 10 plays in practice. But he ran them endlessly not until they got it right, but until they couldn't get it wrong. He went to the line of scrimmage with two plays, then based on the defense he called the better. If it was a pass, he recognized the guy with single coverage and that was the primary target. Peyton Manning isn't walking through that door and onto the Jags practice field. The 2nd coming of Peyton Manning isn't walking through that door either. The Jags are stuck with Bortles for at least another year, hopefully they can find a QB somewhere to at least challenge and compete with him for next season. I don't think Bortles can be fixed enough to lead the Jags to the playoffs, but that's just me. Can he improve, sure, but can he improve enough to lead the Jags to the playoffs? I don't think so, but we'll see.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
