JW's scenario has us trading down INTO the top 10, meaning, if they pick a QB there they initially passed on a QB they had rated as a top 10 pick (which is typical 1st day starter future of franchise territory). Just don't know if this has ever happened before. My trade idea is based on the NFL's rule for tied teams: the first to pick in Round 1 is the last to pick in Round 2. Therefore, I would never suggest trading out of the top 8. |
