OK. My head is spinning.  I just looked at the standings and I think I see where you're going.  There are six 4-11 teams, and one 3-12 team.  And with only that information (not bothering looking at who plays who), there could be seven 4-12 teams when the season ends.  So if this is true, and we trade down with any of those 4-12 teams in the 1st round, we could flip our draft position in the 2nd round from #8 to #2 (assuming we got the #2 pick).  Or something like that. 

 

Either way, there's nothing we're even disputing here.  All I said was if they trade down in the first like you said, it's likely not for a QB.
