I know Monroe is retired now, but have we really recovered from letting him go? We brought in a first round bust, what a wasted pick, and have re-shuffled the line ever since on the left side. You do not let Good Left tackles just walk, haven't we seen enough scubs to realize good ones are rare and valuable? Smith could have played a couple more years but his leaving didn't have the impact Monroe did. We didn't waste a number one on a MLB.
