I just hope he gets better at dissecting the trends that are relevant and does not interject and override the people who have done the job for decades. Also someone like Coughlin would not put up with it for a day, so it may make the candidate pool of coaches smaller. Nobody wants the owner's son giving them binders of team's tendencies every week. Maybe a small summary notebook. It's all a matter of how much he intrudes. That's the case with a lot of owners.

 

So, to sum up, the team isn't winning, so the data Tony provides MIGHT be "garbage," therefore, you hope the next coach doesn't pay any attention to the owner's son?  

 

You guys are totally speculating out of your behinds, and the result is that you have a thread that criticizes the owner's son.  That is a dumb thing to do.  

 

You hope he gets better?   You hope he does not interject and override people?   You have absolutely no facts to indicate that he interjects and overrides people.  You don't even know what information he is providing, other than the fact that he crunches numbers and provides data to the team.  In short, you have no basis to criticize the guy.   You're pulling this all out of your behind.  

 

It's like some of you guys are still angry and frustrated, but the coach is gone, so you need a target for your anger.  So, how about the owner's son?   He might be a spoiled rich kid.  He might be influencing the team.   He might be one of the reasons we are losing.   It's all just coming out of your [BAD WORD REMOVED], because you have no facts behind this other than our record of 2-12. 

 

This is just my opinion, guys, but criticizing the coach or the GM is one thing, but attacking the people who control where the team is located is quite another.
