Interesting quote from Malik Jackson on Gus Bradley firing

Quote:That's great if his mechanics improved, but if his shoulder is hurt that isn't going to help him throwing the ball.

Ultimately, until next year none of us will know and we shouldn't base what we do this offseason on it. Find a serious #2 guy that can take over if he doesn't get it turned around. But none of us know how the shoulder injury affected him this year/if he gets healthy will things change? We'll just have to wait and see.

Maybe I'm misattributing but I thought people have been arguing his mechanics are bad due to injury?

As for the second paragraph, you're right we don't know, but the team certainly does and offseason plans should absolutely take it into account.

Injury or not, I just don't believe it's a significant part of his troubles. A part maybe, but not the driving factor.
