Bridgewater is playing well enough at a level of competition that includes Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, Temple, South Florida, etc.

 

The issue about why he decided to not accept scholarship offers from major college football programs just kind of hangs out there as self-evident.

 

What will happen if Bridgewater is drafted by the Jaguars?

 

He will sit on the bench for a couple of games (maybe) then the angry mob will cry aloud for Teddy to start as is.

 

Then what?

 

We've proven time and again we are a franchise that demands constant human sacrifices at the QB spot. A couple of lucky wins during a totally meaningless late season surge generated by sluggish, unmotivated players attempting to fight off their own demise and Jaguars' fans are already convinced all we need is a quarterback.

 

We're losers. Savor that for a while. Six consecutive NON-winning seasons. We had that accomplished by the end of week eight.

 

Try very hard to think above throwing another rookie quarterback to the wolves.
