My stance is that size and strength are equally as important as technique at the NFL level and yours is that technique trumps all.


I just feel like we have evidence of it with having an undersized line thats been pushed around ever since Manuwai and Naeole.
 

I'm not completely disagreeing with you.

 

It's just that technique trumps size if all else is equal.

 

A 300-305lb guy with good technique is a much better player than a 320-325 lb guy without good technique.

 

Cann is 313 and gets blown away and gets put on skates worse than anyone.

 

Weight without technique makes you as soft as a practice dummy.

 

The average is around 315.  Give me a guy with technique 5-10lbs under that mark every day of the week vs one that's 5-10lbs over without it.
