6. He ain't that young, and he certainly isn't inexperienced. He has a full seasons worth of starts more than Blaine got, and he is more than half a year older than Gabbert was too. 

 

   Though the Lions Defense was playing much better by the time of the game against the Jaguars than 5 weeks earlier against the Rams,  in truth Case Keenum threw the ball noticeably better than Blake Bortles did.   I'm not sure to what extent the two 1st QTR hits had on Bortles.  But from a physical throwing standpoint,  he was noticeably limited compared to the other QBs the team faced this season.    Including Brian Hoyer and Brock Osweiler.     I never would have expected this before the season began.   At that time,  I was anticipating Bortles to be one of the top QB opponents of the season.
