As far as NFL prospect is concerned, they aren't close to each other.

 

I am not comparing Teddy to Geno. I was just saying it is possible to see Teddy drop to our pick even though most people think he will go #1 overall by pointing out that's what we kept hearing about Geno at this time last year. What makes you think I was comparing them?

What's silly is an AFC scout thinks Teddy should be a second round pick while everyone else says it would be a huge upset if he does not go first overall. Starting a topic about that stupid comment is not silly at all.

 

"Barring injury" is ridiculous. Every quarterback who ever played got hurt at least once. Even if Teddy suffers a career-ending injury he will have a great career up to that point.

 

You mean his ceiling is very high. His floor was when he started playing football.

 

Teddy will not become a premier quarterback because he already is one. That is pretty obvious.

 

Remember we may scoop him up at #2 because that will be our pick if the Redskins win and we lose.

You are assuming a quarterback must be perfect in every way to be considered elite. Fact: There is no such thing as a perfect quarterback. Name one QB in NFL history who has or had been perfect at everything, immediately made his team a Super Bowl contender, and was the only player on his team. I guarantee you can't do it.
