By the way, how is bortles looking today? the actual first week of play after gus gets fired and hes looking like a new qb. 

Last season, Bortles did 'light it up'... at times. At other times, he stunk out loud. This season, he has consistantly stunk out loud... until today when it was too late to produce a meaningful win. Is there a correlation between Bortles production and Gus no longer being here? If there is, then you would also have to wonder if Bortles was intentionally torpedoing the offense because of Gus.

The only rational answer I can offer is... I dunno why all the sudden Bortles is playing at a much higher level than we've seen practically all season. Perhaps someone in a prominent position in the franchise informed him that his franchise quarterback tag isn't unassailable after all and that he had better start producing or he might be riding wood next season. Who knows?
