The only rational answer I can offer is... I dunno why all the sudden Bortles is playing at a much higher level than we've seen practically all season. Perhaps someone in a prominent position in the franchise informed him that his franchise quarterback tag isn't unassailable after all and that he had better start producing or he might be riding wood next season. Who knows?

Plus no game is meaningless. Cause of bonuses. And if don't hit a certain number won't get paid. So no game outside of fan perspective is in fact meaningless.
