Bortles still dropped the ball prior to release fairly often vs the tacks, but I thought his footwork looked better and he was stepping (or at least leaning) into his throws more consistently.  There was less of that flat-footed and off-the-back-foot stuff going on.

He looked more natural and relaxed, but some of that is unfortunately likely a result of having little to lose at this point. 

 

I saw improvement Sunday, but he's still a big gamble to start in 2017 in my mind and I'd like to see him have legit competition.
