Was her blindness a result of PTSD and just a mental block vs a physical issue?

she disappeared for 7 years and comes back with eye sight.  Thats a fact.

First episode she youtubes Homer and smiles when she sees him.  In the same room there is an unopened amazon box.

Last episode we are lead to believe she fabricated those people by the box of books in her room that is now opened

So if she fabricated Homer why is the box with the Homer book in it unopened.

She has marking all over her from captivity

if she is in fact crazy, she predicted the mass shooting anyway.  She is not an unreliable narrator, we know this because she says she left a note, the dad never sees it until the mom finally shows it to him.  

I just don't see how you spend so much time developing a story then just say o she's crazy now lets use her crazy dance lessons to stop a mass shooting we just throw in out of no where.  

To me it was like they wrote themselves into a corner, didn't know how to get out, then decided to just throw a twist with a couple throwaway dialogues mixed in.

How does her leaving a note prove she's wholly reliable? The whole backstory is coming from her, none of it should be taken as fact IMO.


The only two things that I can think of that point to her not making it up is the prediction of the shooting, and that we saw Hap kill the other doctor. Technically the latter could be part of her made up story but since they showed it on screen that would be some low down trickery.
