I just saw something on Pro Football Talk about Drew Brees expecting Sean Payton to be back with the Saints again in 2017 after new rumors of him being traded away. This time the rumors are of Payton being traded to the Rams.
In all honesty, of all the names I've heard that could possibly be available (technically not available) his name is the most intriguing to me. We have a defense that could do well with Todd Wash in place while Sean Payton can focus on making our offense better. The question is, what do you give up to get him? In the past its been 2 first round picks. Are you willing to do that for a coach of his caliber? If the Rams do that, they are screwed for years to come. They are an awful team with an awful quarterback, awful depth, just bad talent, and losing those picks is going to make them even worse. Us on the other hand....
