Long term we're not really working toward anything with any of these QBs except maybe a competition to be a backup for some years.

So we need to evaluate how well they can catch slant passes? Because those are the only passes that are going to get to the receivers out of Henne's hands. And can't those receivers just prove themselves in camp? It works both ways. The young receivers should be out there with Stanzi/Scott. That's what a good organization would do. They'd put the back ups in. The ones who have sat around and watched this team lose all those games this season, without having a shot to help the team out. You put those guys out there and see which one's respond.

 

If even one player who hasn't played all season steps out on the field and shows that he can make it on the roster, it was a successful day. The only way you can possibly ensure failure, is to put the same guys on the field that have failed this season.
