If ordering the cheapest meals (Dollar Menu) yes, a person could save money.

I'm not saying heroin should be legal or fast food should be illegal. I'm simply saying that it might be a good idea to limit the extent to which places like McDonald's market to children much like cigarette marketing has been limited. Cigarettes cause cancer and fast food cause obesity and diabetes.

But to your point, Mcdonalds isnt the only restaurant serving unhealthy food. The reason so many people eat there is because of affordability. If some of the more casual chains like Paneras, Chiptole, etc came down on their price but still maintained a quality product, they would be just as lucrative and have MILLIONS more stores than what they have now.
