No one will give him three years to show his worth because he won't be a part of any team's future plans.

And no team will give any franchise quarterback prospect three years to sit and learn under the current CBA, anyway. No one has any clue what the Patriots and Broncos think of Mallett and Osweiler, for example, while it was very clear that Rodgers was the Packers' future.

Sorry, that was sort of beyond the point you were making, but I thought I might as well expand on that.
