As to your "telling Blake" point, so you'd rather put the team into a position to where they are now essentially forced to find a veteran back up QB instead of giving your starting QB a plan of action for improving his play?

 

If it's me, I'd put a higher priority on helping the player's get better instead of unnecessary roster moves in January.
