Now looking at this, who do you want where? Who covers that slot via the Cn role? Colvin? House? Draft Pick?


Which 5 do you want to have to stand up the potential double team from H and T?


Which 50 handles H when it's Gronkowski? Is that Jack? Telvin? Fowler? Also, which 50 rushes the passer or drops into coverage? Is that Yannick?


Which 20 stands up when that backside Guard pulls around and wraps up to block him? Is that Poz? Jack? Free Agent?


Lots of stuff involved in a defensive scheme other than just naming positions.

Just spitballing but I'd go:


5 = Jon Allen


1= Roy Miller/Abry


3= Malik





Then with the linebackers you can get creative.


So you could go: 50 covering the TE - Myles Jack


20- Fowler rushing the A-gap/hitting that backside guard


20- Telvin - basically still playing his weakside hit and run role or covering the flats/dropping into zone. Same thing as Arizona does with Bucannon. Calls him a MLB or moneybacker but in reality he's just a weakside 4-3 role playing in a 3-4


Weakside 50- Yannick. This would mainly be on passing downs , Yannick would come down to the LOS rushing creating a defacto 4-3 , let Fowler pick his spots to hit and depending on what he sees , let Jack cover the TE and let Telvin hit and run.


Need another two 3-4 type OLBs too probably. So on run downs I'd take out Yannick and have it

50- New OlB

20-Poz

20-Telvin

50-Fowler


And have Myles Jack playing the slot corner role.
