My first two choices would be Mike Smith or Doug Marrone. Those would by my choices, and I think those would be Caldwell's choices, too. All these other guys seem to carry a lot of risk. Caldwell is down to his last chance. He has to get this team to .500 or lose his job. So right now, he isn't thinking Super Bowl. He's thinking can we just get to a winning record and save his job. I'm speculating, of course. But if I am right, that would mean he will pick an experienced coach who has had some success in the past. |
