Just because gus was a "players coach" and was bad doesnt mean others cant be good


just because Gus was a first time head coach and didnt work doesnt actually mean we need a guy with experience either


Projecting Gus onto every candidate is moronic. The idea that players need some guy yelling at them, or a guy who will make players resent him just for some faulty idea on discipline and respect is archaic. Pick the guy who has the best football ideas possible, the guy who will put everyone in the best schematic position to succeed, and a guy whos on top of things. A guy who can get respect from the players and get them to buy in is what matters, how he does it doesnt really make a difference but pigeon holing it to guys who are "tough and experienced" just limits your options and doesnt help us at all really.
