When the guy doesn't up being any good? Elway, Manning, and Luck are the consensus three best quarterback prospects of the Super Bowl era. Absolutely no one thought they would bust, and they obviously didn't. They are on that level before the draft for a reason. I don't see how Andrew Luck was not going to be a decent NFL quarterback at the very least. He was too smart, too dedicated, and his tools were superb. Only injuries were going to stop him from becoming a good player.
