It would probably be exactly how it is now. Believe it or not (the MSM would prefer you to not), the country in general is fairly optimistic about Trump and wants him to succeed.

 

The left are in absolute panic, the moderates are moderate, and the right are excited.

 

If it were Bernie, the left would be excited, the moderates would be moderate, and the right would be in absolute panic.
