I like the concept of the machete order. But if your gonna leave out episide 1 because of its superfloiusness... Then ep. 2 and 3 can be dumped for the same reason.

The prequels are a blue screened cash grab that is littered with bad acting, terrible script writing, bad plots, and dialogue that [BAD WORD REMOVED] screen writers would be ashamed to jot down.

Save yourself the time and dump the prequels all together. The folks you are saving from the prequels will have have lost nothing by missing out on them, and probably will enjoy the universe of star wars more without having to be subjected to the campy nonsense of the prequels.

Eh... There is plenty of good about ep 2 and 3. They are not great but they give good backstory after the big reveal of Vader. It works plenty fine. Comparing those 2 to ep 1 is like comparing 2 and 3 to 5.
