I think studying running backs is pretty hard myself. most of the running backs in question will look good with even decent blocking - and lets be honest - in college you have decent blocking most of the time. what I want to see is a running back take a clear 3 yard loss and turn it into a 50 yard touchdown. I'd like to see some actual moves, jukes, etc - where a sure tackle is missed. Most of the highlights therefore are completely pointless and a waste of time.
