Jags fans have been doing their part, but this is just the way the world is right now. The risk of losing our team will drastically increase over the next decade if the city sits on its hands with the stadium. So if a mayor cares about the long term viability of the J-ville Jaguars, they need to be having this conversation about our stadium now. I think the moment we start winning, new stadium talks will come shortly after.

Thing is, Khan has been very fait towards the city so far. He hasn't asked them to make concessions they haven't already agreed to, all the expansions to the stadium in the past few years have been within the established contracts between the Jaguars and the city. Khan has even gone as far as agreeing to cover the costs of any budget overruns on the stadium improvements. The man has shown himself to be not just a shrewd businessman but a fair one as well and it's why I have very little patience for any criticism of Khan.

 

As for the London game; I don't think we have much to fear of any team taking that away from us. No team in the NFL seems to want to play in London that bad, most of them just play there to get some kind of benefit or because they don't have much to lose from moving a home game to London.
