I wonder if GMs really pay much attention to what has happened in previous drafts.


Makes sense that you might want to wait for a later round to pick up a good RB (as there is a lot of depth at the position this year) but to me the performance of previous RBs is irrelevant - if the Cowboys thought that way, they wouldn't have drafted Elliott.


They just need to trust their evaluation of this year's players and not be scared by past failures.


Fournette would make a big difference for our offense and would be more valuable than a safety in my opinion.
